Our mortgage firm maintains professional relationships with apartment lending institutions such as HUD, Fannie Mae®, Freddie Mac®, conduits, life insurance companies, national financial intermediaries, and local and national commercial banks. We originate mortgage loans and facilitate the loan process on behalf of apartment borrowers and lenders.

In 1992, our firm was approved by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to become a FHA multifamily lender. As an approved HUD multifamily mortgagee, we can originate, underwrite and service multifamily loans nationwide using HUD’s MAP (Multifamily Accelerated Processing) and traditional guidelines.

In 1996, our firm was selected as an exclusive correspondent to originate Fannie Mae® DUS™ loans on behalf of M&T Realty Capital Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of M&T Bank Corporation. Our clients’ institutional financing needs (for acquisition, refinance, or forward rate construction and permanent loans) combined with our ability to assist them in Ohio, Michigan and Western Pennsylvania has provided for more growth in their apartment portfolios.

In 2004, our firm was approved as an exclusive correspondent with an international financial intermediary. Our loan originators can evaluate smaller apartment properties, the borrowers, and the risk associated with fixed rate financing, and be more competitive in terms of mortgage rates and terms. This flexible, expedited financing helps to assist more growing apartment owners reach to the next level of ownership.
